The School Days Countdown iterates across every calendar date from your start date through your end date (inclusive), counts days matching your weekly class schedule (Mon-Thu, Mon-Fri, or Mon-Sat), and subtracts your scheduled holiday and break weekdays.
Net School Days = Scheduled Weekdays(Start..End) - Holiday Weekdays; Equivalent Weeks = Net School Days / Schedule Days per Week.
Using UTC calendar date arithmetic prevents daylight saving time transitions in March or November from shifting day counts by an hour.
