How to choose

A snippet preview helps review the wording and approximate width of a title before publishing. Search engines can choose different titles and descriptions for different queries, so a preview is not a ranking forecast. Robots.txt controls crawler requests rather than access to private content; test the generated rules against your intended URLs.

The contrast checker evaluates the luminance ratio of two opaque colors against WCAG text thresholds. It cannot assess a whole page, transparency, or text over a photograph. Use it for an individual color choice and check the rendered component in context before publishing.

Sitemap Generator deduplicates and escapes a list of same-origin HTTP(S) URLs into XML. It does not crawl a site, discover pages, or submit the generated file. Include canonical URLs that should be indexed, and use a last-modified date only when it reflects an actual content change.

Common questions

Will these tools submit my site to a search engine?

No. They generate or preview content locally and do not submit URLs.

Does robots.txt keep a URL private?

No. Confidential pages need authentication or other access controls.
